We touched on this briefly when discussing the weight you should be lifting, but reps don’t count for much if your form is bad. Not only is this a missed opportunity to target the muscles that a move is designed for, but compromised form can also lead to injury. Mirrors at the gym weren’t put there for selfies either. They’re to help you keep an eye on your movements to keep your form intact. Remember, fewer reps with good form is better than massive amounts of reps if you’re not lifting correctly.
